"Psycho II" (1983)
This is a complete set of 8 original American Lobby Cards for the belated 1983 horror sequel "Psycho II".
"Psycho II" again starred Anthony Perkins as troubled hotelier Norman Bates. The film was actually well received by fans, despite the intense pressure of being a sequel to the classic original directed by Alfred Hitchock. Subsequent follow-ups did not fare so well however, despite Perkins himself occupying the director's chair for the third installment. The fourth and final chapter was a TV movie affair, which killed off the franchise. That was until Gus Van Sant's rather pointless scene-by-scene remake of the original, released in 1998.
Condition = "Good" Best card: #2
This set appears to be unused, but most of the cards have obvious signs of handling and storage wear. I grade in a strict manner, so would rate this set as an overall 6 out of 10 for condition, despite there being no pin-holes on any of the cards. At least 2 of the cards can be considered as being "near-mint" but most of the others fall into the "fair" category. Card #2 (featuring Die Hard 2's Dennis Franz) is in the best shape. |
