"Jaws 2" (1978)
This is an incomplete set of 3 American Lobby Cards from the 1979 sequel "Jaws 2 ". The cards are not numbered, but research into this title has strongly indicated to me that these cards originate from an original complete set of 4 (four) rather than the standard count of 8 (eight) There is therefore probably 1 (and not 5) missing cards in this instance.
"Jaws 2" starred Roy Scheider and was a highly successful (if a little "by-the-numbers") sequel to Steven Spielberg's smash hit original from 1975. These cards are almost certainly originals, but are for some reason dated 1979 (the film was released in 1978 in the USA) They are certainly not reprints / reproductions of any kind.
Update! Having now sourced a 2nd set of cards from Jaws 2, it would appear that the ones dated "1979" originate from a later release of the film (just one year later, in 1979) The single card illustrated on this page with the red "Jaws" logo is dated 1978, thereby clarifying itself as an original release card - and indicating that those with a black logo are from an early re-release of the film. Neither set has more than four (4) different designs however.
Each card has no pinholes, tears or any other kind of typical damage for Lobby Card photographs. Presented therefore in "mint" condition. "Zero defects!"
