Legend has it that because of some mistakes made regarding the licensing of the Jimi Hendrix songs featured, the lifespan of the superb and official soundtrack album for Bruce Robinson's cult favourite "Withnail & I" was dramatically cut short. During this time, LP record, audio cassette tape and even a Compact Disc CD edition did see the light of day, only for all 3 formats to be banished from the marketplace and shops soon after. Needless to say, as a result of this highly unusual situation the copies that did have now become prized possessions and in some cases collector's items!
